What would you consider as cheating, or unacceptable in a relationship?

Last night I went out with a guy, He's mainly my brothers friend, but I suppose he is my friend too.

We were driving around in his car and he taught me how to change gear by putting my hand on it and his hand on top of mine. We talk sexually towards each other a lot. Just friendly banter really. I was told by someone that he cheated as he touched me sensually? And that maybe he is emotionally cheating?



What do you class as the first instance of cheating on someone?

If your brother's friend is in a relationship with someone else, and was talking sexually with you, then his behavior was inappropriate.

Was it cheating? Depends on the conversation really....if you two were talking about wanting to screw each other and how it would occur, I'd call that a form of cheating. If it was just sexual innuendo or general remarks, then unacceptable but not cheating.



A behavior doesn't have to be cheating to cause problems in a relationship or to cause it to end. If the words or behavior aren't something you would do in front of your partner or if they were things you wouldn't want your partner to do with someone else, then they aren't okay for you to do...that includes people in relationships and people who are associating with people in relationships (such as you were).What would you consider as cheating, or unacceptable in a relationship?

No i don't think so, i suppose over touching could count, inappropriate touching. But his hand on yours.. nah.
For me, ya if you are touching someone inappropriately it is cheating. Like if you put your hand on their leg or around their shoulder. That being said, he only put your hand on his the gear shifter??? That is NOT cheating.... although if I were this guys girlfriend I wouldnt want him hanging around someone who he talks ';sexually'; with... even if it is friendly, it can become more.
