somewhere on the side of the tranny you will find a threaded plug- fill it to the bottom of the threads- wouldnt hurt to drain it %26amp; fill it. put a length of hose on the nipple of the gear oil bottle to make filling easierHow to add oil to a 4 speed granny gear?
If its rear wheel drive sometimes its just easiest to remove the shifter and add oil thru the opening.
you need to bring the car to the dealership b/c yo uhave to added the fluid from the bottom of the the car there is an access screw just like your oil pan screw and you have to have the right equipment inorder to add the fluid inot the pan, but it sounds like to me your trans is fixing to go out.
should b a plug on side of tranny...open it and fill till its leakin out...u may need 2 use a suction/pump.to get it in there...
There are two plugs on the tranny One on the side and one on the bottom Remove the one on the side if oil seeps out it doesn't need oil...If it doesn't seep then stick your little finger in the hole if you can touch the oil again you don't need to add oil.

The stiff shifting could be a sign of the clutch not releasing completely.. or the synchronizes starting to wear down,, if this is the case the tranny will have to be rebuilt

Good Luck
There will be a 3/8 or 1/2 in plug on the side of the tranny. Remove the plug and the fluid should be right at the bottom of the hole. If it is low fill it with the right oil. Make sure you put in what the dealer calls for. and never mix regular with synthetic oil. Good Luck.
