Mitsubishi lancer evo 9 difficult to drive?

I heard that it gets annoying driving an evo 9 in stop go traffic. Is it that bad? and how does it feel changing gears in the evo 9?Mitsubishi lancer evo 9 difficult to drive?
it basically depends on which sub-model you have. the FQ320 is considered the best EVO IX model and strangely so the easiest to drive as well. infact the Evolution series is renowned for the ability to make a novice feel in control and push the edge without pushing into walls.

on the other hand the EVO IX FQ400 is rated bad, its really fast but very thirsty the gearbox is stiff with a very wide turning circle and it gets worst, this particular model has phenomenal turbo lag. if you are not in the right gear at the right time even a ford fiest will smoke you.

so if you mean EVO IX FQ400 then the answer is yes, it is quiet a bad drive and expensive as well.Mitsubishi lancer evo 9 difficult to drive?
I believe that he is talking state side there. the FQ's are only availible in the UK.....First off the Evo is made to be a track car....it is slightly unconfortable but that doesn't matter cause it's an Evo right?!?! Lol anywho if you want a car similar to the Evo but one that is more of a road car I'd have to suggest the Subaru WRX STi.....but in my oppinion i'd take the slightly degraded town travel for the fact that i could say that i drove an Evo!
