Whats wrong with my car? its stiff to change gears?

I have a 02 daewoo matiz

Recently ny car has been feeling like its in 3rd gear when its in 5th, the car rumbles like I need to change gear when i'm already in 5th.

This morning all of a sudden the gear wouldn't change and I had to put preasure on the stick. Now every time I change gear its really stiff.

What is the problem and how can it be fixed also how much will it cost???

Thank youWhats wrong with my car? its stiff to change gears?
have you checked your transmission fluid?Whats wrong with my car? its stiff to change gears?
your gear box probably needs changing, and i think it's expensive.
It's the gear box or the clutch that needs replaced. It's gonna cost ya about £150 - £200.

Good luck.
GO TO A SHOP---THE CLUTCH IS BAD--do not continue to drive the car---the cost?? I don't know--but it needs work NOW. Stop before you ruin the transmission all together
Is it the same once the car has warmed up?
theres your problem straight away its a Daewoo Matiz ... ha ha
sounds like your clutch has gone bad , get it fixed now, before you end up stranded somewhere
check the oil level in the tranny, if its really cold outside this is common. if its warm and still doing this, your having clutch problems.
I was a mechanic for over forty years and when ever a vehicle gets that problem its usually oil on the clutch plate,If its an older Vauxhall a good trick is to change gearbox oil for synthetic oil,It makes gear changing smoother,Good luck.
How cold is it where you are,in called weather it takes time for the oil to warm up. Have the oil level checked and clutch adjusted. Otherwise gearbox may be on the way out. Hope this helps.
Between the gear stick and the gear box there is a set of levers. Often the joints on these levers become worn and as a result the gears become difficult to find.

My advice would be to see your local garage and ask them to service the gear box linkage.

Ja.
gear fluid, synchronization, worn or broken gears, worn clutch disk...............

Get it checked by a mechanic.
