Im buying a turbo kit for my e46 but i want a strong whistle sound when i change gears,is that possible?

I'M im putting 10 lbs of boost, but what got me attractive to the turbo was that sound everytime a shift occurs, i heard the sound on a EVO which had about 11 lbs of boost. I was reading on the web that BMW wont get the sound. I hope is not true, but before anything is that true and how can i get that strong whistle sound everytime i change gears.Im buying a turbo kit for my e46 but i want a strong whistle sound when i change gears,is that possible?
its the blow off valve that makes the the sound its as it releases the excess boost when the rpm drop on the **** from one gear to the next different blow off valves well give different soundsIm buying a turbo kit for my e46 but i want a strong whistle sound when i change gears,is that possible?
Any turbo can give a good whistle. It depends on the Blowoff Valve you get. Some blowoffs have a quiet swoosh sound, and some give out loud whistles. Check around and look what type of blowoff valves are available for your car.
a good turbo and cold air intake and a good blow off
As you can read it is the BLOW OFF VALVE.

That is because that is the PROPER WAY to install the blow off valve. Once the air enters the system, it is METERED CHARGE. And metered charge (or air) should NOT escape the system. That throws off the fuel/air mixture.

The proper way to do that is to blow it off BACK into the system - AFTER THE MAF sensor.

So all those COOL guys and the blow off valves are screaming -

HEY I DON'T KNOW how to install my blow off valve !!!

So I know you think it is cool. But it is the wrong way.

Good luck...
