I drive an i10 (without tachometer). Problem is that when I change gear from 1st to 2nd, I find whether it is too early or too late to change the gear. I never find the perfect smooth transition point with respect to speed of the car at first gear. Please help!!!How should I change My Car Gear from 1st to 2nd smoothly?
Does your car have a shift indicator light? many cars without tachs have one. You can get a tach kit for pretty cheap if you wanted one, I suggest switching at about 15 to 20 MPH a lot depends on the gearing of the car though. Just listen to it, if it sounds like its revving to high switch sooner.How should I change My Car Gear from 1st to 2nd smoothly?
practice is all you need listen to motor feel it dont need a tach should be able to know when with your eyes close listen to your motor first gear is basicy to get you moving you shift just right after moving like 15 to 20 at the most
