How to change gears smoothly in a 5 speed?

how do you change gears smoothly in a 5 speed? and when do you downshift if stopping or making a turn without stopping or just generally slowing down? How to change gears smoothly in a 5 speed?
Push in the clutch, shift, let out the clutch slowly. How do you do it smoothly? Practice.

You downshift when your speed is too low for the gear you're in.How to change gears smoothly in a 5 speed?
always use the clutch slowly then as your downshifting hold the clutch in in fifth gear and as your slowing down drop it into fourth then coast then drop down into third get it so your not jerkn yourself around in the car it will take alot of practice all cars are different my opinion Honda's are the real easy to practice on.
just don,t scrape gears and it will go in smooth.
you downshift when the engine start to lug, i.e., it is working too hard for that gear and sounds bad

after awhile you will anticipate the lug %26amp; shift early
