How do you drive a four wheeler that you have to change gears on?

we just got this 1987 four wheeler and you have to change the gears, how do you do that? How do you drive a four wheeler that you have to change gears on?
You change to higher gears when you want slower speed with more 'strength.' You switch to higher gears when you want to go fast with lighter riding.

Switch to higher gears when you hear the engine get loud and you won't get any faster.

It's really easy once you get the hang of it.

Have fun! Four wheeling ROCKS!

Give it fuel until the motor revs out a bit, then let off the fuel and on the left side of the fourwheeler lift up on the gear shift with your toe. It probably has 5 gear's so just repeat the procedure until you have reached 5th gear.
There is pedal on left side for your foot. Pushing down on the pedal will put you in lower gear. Putting your toes under it and lifting up will put you in a higher gear. That is the procedure if you have a semi-automatic transmission.

Some four-wheelers also have a clutch on them as well. This is the lever on the left-hand handle bar. You just pull it towards yourself to disengage the clutch while letting off of the throttle at the same time. Then change gears. Afterwards slowly re-engage the clutch.
